Heating pad control, works

I bought this to reduce the power of reptile heating mats. A low setting provides approximately 50% power to the heater. On the other hand, a lamp dimmer would allow for much less control. Low settings are ideal for my application. Use it connected to the output of any ON/OFF thermostat (e.g. Inkbird 306T or similar) for better heating control than just using the thermostat. I like the resolution of the dial. Works for my application.
