Good tool in my arsenal

This is a great prewash after you have rinsed your car. Let the dirt dissolve and then lightly dampen it again. Then proceed to regular washing in a bucket of Meguire's Gold Class soap or equivalent. You can also replace it with a wheel rim cleaner if you keep up with brake dust. I also use this cleaner for rubber mats. It's expensive, but you don't have to use a lot, so you'll last. I wash my car once a week, one gallon lasts 3-4 months.
