Lately I've been reading fun books about pirates to my kids (argggg, bro!) and I wanted to make a treasure chest as a prop for our treasure hunt, so I bought a plastic treasure chest. on-line. I've filled it with all sorts of pretty pirate loot and these little plastic beads are beautiful - and the perfect size. I wish there were more colors than red and green (blue and gold would be nice), but they're still great little gems. Some of the larger ones also have a small loop so you can string them up with nylon cord or strong thread so you can use them as Christmas tree ornaments. arggg! There's treasure in that chest, friends!
