I had absolutely no idea how to create a vacuum in my air conditioner. I bought this and watched youtube and this pump worked fast, effortless and great.

Vacuum sealed the mini split line with no problems. The kit included a bottle of oil, which was enough to fill it to working level. The block worked fine, there were no problems.

I used this kit to: - relocate an R22 condenser - replace a leaking AC line on my 2007 Sport Trac with an R134a system - install a new R410 system Very recommended if you want to start your own HVAC work. This set has everything you need for it.

I like the side support slots to keep the joints clean. Very accurate and beautiful. I haven't opened the vacuum cleaner yet. I wish I could just buy manifold sensors, I didn't know about the one that runs off the compressor at 1/20 times.

I used this setup to create a vacuum in a mini-split system I installed. Worked great but I would like to mention that the supplied oil is required for break-in and it is recommended to replace this oil with fresh oil. I was told by the HVAC technician that he changes the oil for each maximum vacuum job. Bottom line...buy some extra oil and you're set, I would also add that I didn't have to buy any adapters.

I needed to turn on the vacuum on my mini split units (2) for my house. These were new building installations and the blocks were "do it yourself" that still need a vacuum. Pump works no problems. Other reviewers mentioned that the pump only came with a one-time oil change and that you had to do an oil flush/change before first use. I don't think that's correct. The instructions don't mention that you should change the oil before first use, they only mention how to change it and that it's part of regular maintenance. I'm just learning HVAC and don't want to spend too much money on equipment in case my career doesn't work out. This set convinced me with its price and quality. Pump. After receiving this kit, I tested the vacuum pump using Robinair premium pump oil and a CPS VG200 vacrometer. Very quickly the pump sank and withstood 140 microns.
