I took these gauges over the average pump to charge my daughter's air conditioner for about $30 less than the kits. I'm not an expert so I can only confirm what I liked, good quality hoses, gauges and knobs seem to be of good quality. Everything worked fine except the black vacuum hose. There was no thread on one of the ends, so the hose is practically useless. I bought this manifold kit to replace an old Robyn air valve that broke during a move. I am very satisfied with the functioning of this collector. I have to give them a guess of the doubt that they are new. I had no issues with the quick connects which sealed everything very quickly and easily and the quick connects fit the line ports like a champ with no leaking out of nowhere.
