Right out of the box I didn't receive all the parts that were supposed to come with the tool. I have two cone stamps and no die. Both are necessary to make a hole in the fabric to thread the clasp. It holds the clasps together very well. The cap and the base and the bolt and the pin were firmly connected. But when it came time to snap the top and bottom together, we ran into trouble. The metal stamp pushes the petal pin onto the socket, so the latch itself cannot secure. (pic 1) I solved this problem by pulling out the old hammer and latch to press the edges. (pic 2) This tool is a good addition if you already have a cutting tool, hammer and a setter. It failed as an independent work.
