This collar appeared to be quite well made and the buckle was solid. However, I was looking for a collar that would not irritate my dog's neck as he is very sensitive in that area and has lost most of his fur under his neck where the buckle is. I've tried leaving the collars loose, but somehow she manages to stuff them in her mouth and chew them until they fall off, so my only option is to find a soft collar that I can hold a little tighter and hers skin not irritated. This collar was advertised as a soft 100% nylon so I gave it a try. It also had a narrow 3/8 inch width, which was a plus for dogs (or cats) with sensitive skin. The smaller the irritating surface, the better. Delivery was fast. The pink was a bright neon pink. Exactly what I was hoping for. The collar had a soft feel and the buckle was sturdy and metal. Very strong. Unfortunately, this collar had a major drawback for the pet owner looking for a soft collar - on the bottom of the collar where the nylon webbing wraps around the loop. buckle mounts. Instead of the nylon webbing being sewn on, it was first melted down and then sewn on. The melted nylon was bulky and at a very SHARP angle! Pains. With no fur under her neck due to continued irritation, it would be an instrument of torture and cut her open, which was quickly returned.
