Owned the chair for a little over 4 years, at $55 if you can get a good one out of the box it should last. If you follow minor maintenance instructions like retightening the screws every 3 months or so it will last a long time as I see almost no noticeable wear on the armrest, seat cushion or backrest from daily use. Not a lot of lumbar support, but you can get a cheap lumbar pillow for $5-10. In terms of cargo capacity, you're probably safe under 190 pounds. I weigh 5-10/195 pounds and late at night I'm stretching and arching my back in a chair that suddenly let me down. Photos of the fault location are attached. But for a $50 chair that has lasted me for 4 years, I'll give it a 3. I'll be buying another chair for my next chair.
