When I was in college my main consideration was price and this monitor lives up to that price point. I use it as a secondary display for my MS Surface book by launching it from the Surface dock. It works great. The form factor between slim profile and narrow bezel is perfect for my small dorm room. In terms of monitor performance, it's not the best, but it does everything I need it to. The black/contrast levels aren't impressive, but to be honest I'm constantly choosing between this and a superficial book whose screen can hit pretty much anything, let alone a monitor that's 1/22 the price. Video plays back beautifully, even at 60 frames per second. That said, I don't game much, but I wouldn't expect a size from this monitor for this purpose. I once encountered a weird "snow" that interrupted my picture, but toggling the power put an end to it. Boot times are lightning fast compared to the older monitors I'm used to at home. All in all, a monitor with an excellent price-performance ratio. I'd love to try chaining a few of them together, but I'll just have to wait until I have a room.
