AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I received the first drive in the summer of 2016 and tested it with Seagate Seatools before using it. He collapsed immediately. Got a second drive (swapped) and used it for a year and a month with very little use. Never dropped, traveled or hit. The second disk is now FAIL. Says return under guarantee. See fig. I have 2 WD external drives that are older and have never failed. With over 100 different hard drive brands in the last 20 years, this Seagate external hard drive gives clear indications that this is a truly terrible product.
