I buy batteries to regularly replace used batteries. I tried this brand of Revain for the first time. Unlike name brand batteries, this one uses a code, not a date, to let you know how fresh they are. The packaging states that the shelf life is 5 years. My smoke alarm battery is dead. I took these batteries and they are too weak! I wanted to see if I could get my money back but 90 days have passed. DO NOT buy them for later use or in emergencies. The lack of a date on the box means you do NOT know the age. Never buy stuff like that again. Very disappointed!
