Like many others who have come across this laptop/monitor mount, I must have found this product to be similar to other more expensive options from Revain. I took a chance and ordered 2 of these as I wanted to lift 2 of my laptops off the table to make room for a KB and a mouse underneath the 2 laptops. I was very surprised when they arrived. Very heavy and well packaged. They give you almost all the tools you need, the only tool missing was something to hold the smaller nuts to attach the laptop tray to the vesa mount, a tool I didn't even need as that Hand tightening was sufficient. I must say, that they have thought of almost everything with this mount. There's smooth, soft padding in all the right places. one for the table surface when you squeeze the bracket so it doesn't scratch the top of your desk and one on the edge of the tray that keeps your laptop from sliding off so it doesn't scratch your laptop. And just in case, both packages came with 4 rubber feet. The instructions were well written as the letters on the smaller parts/tool kit marked on the bag are clearly visible and the larger ones are visible in the pictures. Took about 15 minutes to do the first time and less than 10 minutes for the second time as I knew where everything was going. The default joint stiffness was really good. I only had to tighten two things: a bracket on the post to hold the height, and then the tray adjuster to tighten it to the correct angle I wanted for laptops. The arms were stiff but moved easily enough for me to adjust. Overall worth the asking price. I will say if you buy them to attach directly to monitors. due to the short distance it may be a bit more difficult. However, they did a very good job setting up the laptop.
