Review on Pedal Commander - PC38: Ultimate Throttle Response Controller for Toyota Tacoma (2nd & 3rd Gen), all Models (2005 and newer) by Anatoly Yorgason

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very nice upgrade over the gas stop.

2006 Tacoma DBL Cab 4X4. My truck has had a cold air intake system, iridium spark plugs and a throttle body gasket for a few years, so these upgrades really made the 4.0 liter engine a real blast without spending thousands of dollars. on a turbocharger and a new exhaust but for the little money I've already spent it was the second biggest price for the cold air intake although this item is not related to your hp should it be related in your time from 0-60. I will never use this in ECO mode because it's just a dog and I might as well be driving a large van or minivan and it's just not for me. I feel the truck drives lighter, like the gas pedal was depressed a little even when traveling at speed, going up hills is a breeze, and towing is now a pleasure, even towing a 20.5-foot -Small car uphill is much easier. . I was really skeptical because of the price but I pulled the trigger and now that I've used it for towing I'm glad I did. For me with the upgrades I've already had this is a welcome upgrade, I keep it in Sport mode and the top lights not the Supersport settings just get too jittery at the start and I keep the bottom lights to the end. Correctly. Be careful on wet roads because even with good tires it's easy to spin and lose control. The price should be around $269.00 in my opinion for what it does. If it increases the HP I might see a price of 299.00 but I'm scratching my head. have fun and be careful if you decide to buy it, i will never use the supersport mode because of control problems at the start. Sincerely, L.S
