Much better than using the JBL Extreme 2's long strap to move it from room to room, house to garage, etc. Also, you don't have to constantly move the inverted long strap sideways when the surface it's sitting on becomes cluttered. The latches seem strong enough and should last the life of the button, which I assume will be the life of the speaker. I like that the handle has some "beef". Feels good in hand. I have a hard case that I keep the speaker in when not in use and although I have to detach it to put it in the case it is small enough to fit in the side compartment along with the charger. Very satisfied so far!
