Unable to protect device

First, my son is a force of nature. I don't expect any device protection to actually survive it. It's more about how long it can go on. He is autistic, has ADD and Tourette's Syndrome. So he has special needs and his iPad helps him with both communication and self-regulation. The Otterbox holds best, but doesn't have handles. He really likes pens. It has a handle and strap which is impressive. Unfortunately, with the exception of this feature, the overall quality falls short of the minimum expectations. The colored part of the case is made of soft silicone, almost gel-like, so it mostly peels off? Super weird. Not practical at all. Also, it is designed for children. Actually a bit rough. It's getting pretty dirty. Reminds me of a Nickelodeon Slime from the 80's. The screen cracked a few weeks after turning it on. I had to replace the screen in my iPad and back it up that same week. Probably don't buy this.
