So far I've used it for acrylic. My first attempts were unsuccessful. The paint didn't spread well so I tried using some water to spread the paint a little easier, that was a mistake. Water quickly seeped through the paper, deforming it. I'm no expert on mixed media paper (or painting), but this paper is almost like colored paper. It's definitely thinner than my watercolor paper and even card stock. I tried drawing on two different papers and ended up throwing them away. On the third try I decided to prime the paper hoping it would help. This process also warped the paper, but worked better. I still saw some water seeping, but not as much as before. After applying layers of paint, the color flow improved. This paper is more suitable for dry media such as painting/sketching, charcoal etc. I would not recommend it for wet media, especially watercolours, although it is said to be possible. In my pictures you can see the third attempt using plaster paper.
