Review on 🌬️ GE 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner: Easy Install, Remote Control, Energy Saver Mode, Cools 250 Sq Ft by Tyrell Christmas

Updated (see original review below): Not only did they give me a used air conditioner, but the A/C also doesn't work . After 1-2 months of use it revs very loud, lets in humid air, stops working in the middle of the night and I wake up in a sweat. I have to toggle it on and off to get it working again, which is annoying. ALSO it is spewing an orange liquid down the side and ruining my window and parts of this side of the house. And I've only used it for 1-2 months; compared to air conditioners I've owned for 1-2 years that didn't. Contacted Revain and GE and I've just been run around and now it's getting late and well past the returns window which I was already past when I found out what a scam this AC is...I'm not sure like this ac it has so many good reviews, am i just unlucky in this batch? How miserable I am...or is it just bad because I saw someone with the same problems. Original review: The air conditioner looks quite modern and small, which is what I wanted, so it fits perfectly in my room. I like that. I just installed it and it's working fine so far (only on for 30 minutes). Well, let's see how it goes. However, I am very disappointed as I bought it new and received it used! So frustrating because if they gave me a used one they would have to say it and charge less for it, not the full price of a new one. I hired someone to help me with the installation the day after they arrived so I can't even return/exchange it as I would then have to cancel and reschedule the installation. Also, the AC itself might not be bad, so we'll have to check. But I'm still frustrated with the principle of it all; how can you give me a used one?! I've uploaded some photos here to show the stains on the sides and front, and dirt and scratches on the bottom. These are very small details, some can be washed off, but it is clear that they have been used. Otherwise these labels would not exist. I had to spend so much time wiping and disinfecting it because we are still in the middle of COVID-19. If I didn't mind I would go with the "used" option and go for the cheaper one!
