🌬️ GE 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner: Easy Install, Remote Control, Energy Saver Mode, Cools 250 Sq Ft Review

I'm 44 years old and this is my first time putting one up lol I was a little scared but the instructions were easy to follow and it's done and I'm very proud of myself! LOL thanks.

This GE 6000 air conditioner arrived in a package that said it was refurbished or refurbished. The box itself is badly damaged. The device was in a cardboard box without protective packaging. The panels that complete the window block are damaged. This air conditioner window unit actually looks like it was brought back to another location and accidentally sent to us. The purchase definitely had to be for a new air conditioner.

It's insanely cool and works as intended, plain and simple and I also like that there's a removable drain plug in the back because I grew up in which it had to be exit from the back, but sometimes it was necessary to drill it all the way. It's insanely unsafe, and the remote control comes in handy because mine is actually in a wall carved into an old apartment. Bought this unit for my very HOT and large attic bedroom. It's about 32 x 14. I researched and struggled to decide which one to get. I'm so glad I chose this one! My window is tiny with a handle that opens, so I had to remove the entire window to make room for the outside. I had to adjust it to make it fit properly and stay secure. Late. It took 7 days to get here. With a dent on it. The box was split on the side and sealed with tape before shipping. I could buy it at Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, or Best Buy for $20 less. The chutes on the sides have horrible gaps that allow air and bugs to get in. All the brackets and screws are attached to the glass, making all the hardware completely useless. Updated (see original review below): Not only did they give me a used air conditioner, but the A/C also doesn't work . After 1-2 months of use it revs very loud, lets in humid air, stops working in the middle of the night and I wake up in a sweat. I have to toggle it on and off to get it working again, which is annoying. ALSO it is spewing an orange liquid down the side and ruining my window and parts of this side of the house.
