I bought these looking for the lightest cages I could find on a budget and I have been very impressed. Both weighed in at 34 grams on my scale (without bolts), which is excellent for the price. As an added bonus, these cages are very sturdy. The plastic is strong, yet flexible enough that it doesn't feel brittle.They hold my bottles (Camelbak Podium) tightly and there is no doubt in my mind that I'm never going to lose a bottle out of them. One of my regular routes includes a particularly bumpy cattle grate on a descent, which is a good test for any cage/bottle combination. They pass that test with ease. They don't scratch up the bottles or leave a dirty mess like Aluminum cages have the tendency to do over time.I've only been using these for a few months, but I would recommend them so far.
