The two format options available (USB-c - backward compatible with the appropriate adapter - and e-SATA) are perfect for my specific situation. The hard drive is recognized without any problems in both the PC world and the Mac world, the data transfer is smooth and fast, and the heat dissipation design works well, the device never gets excessively warm. I am very happy with it. Supplied with necessary cables and power supply. The on/off slide switch is a nice touch not found on all external cases.
