Review on πŸ• D.T. Systems R.A.P.T. 1450 Remote Dog Trainer: Revolutionizing Canine Training Effortlessly by Stacey Venugopal

Revainrating 5 out of 5

We should never hit our dog. A vibration is enough.

Our 9 month old puppy did what puppies do, he was naughty. He needed some sort of redirect, so we decided to buy this training collar. I hesitated because I didn't want to kill my dog. He is now 12 months old and doing great! We just have to press the vibrate button for The First Command to hear it. (well technically if he was listening to The First Command I wouldn't have to vibrate him lol). Due to the area we live in, we tend not to walk our dog on a leash. He knows the boundaries of his yard and almost like an electric fence when he crosses the boundary we would give him a little vibration and he would learn fast! We only had to put an arrester on it once when a cyclist came by and of course he thought he was there to see him and ran after him. This was the only time we actually had to use an arrester. So if you hesitate because you don't like the sound either, just know that your pup will only learn through vibration. One of the reasons I specifically chose this model was the locator. We have Woods in the backyard and when I can't see where he is I just hit the search button and not only do I know where he is but it's a learning tool that makes him run back. The battery only lasts eight hours, which is not enough in my opinion. On the other hand, it charges quickly, within an hour or an hour and a half. The instructions are easy to read and detailed. We also received an extremely helpful booklet with tutorials. We did some research and other models with a location function were significantly more expensive. I would definitely recommend this.
