I was very impressed and absolutely happy with my new heater and thermometer! Unlike some heaters that take 24 hours to reach the desired temperature and normalize, this heater gets there in about 2 hours or less and was very accurate, at least for a very short period of time! I liked the combo pack and also noticed the accuracy with the digital thermometer. The body of the heater looks good on the inside and the suction cups stick to the glass very well, but that's where full satisfaction ends! Update: Well it was fine until my first heater completely stopped working a few months ago. It lasted exactly 6 months. I wish he had worked at least 1 more year, he suddenly stopped doing his job altogether. However, I decided to give this company a second chance and ordered a second heater of the same model for the same purpose: to heat my 55 gallon aquarium. The angel just floats around (not good!) and after living in my tank for over 3 years (lifespan is 10 years) I couldn't believe she died on me! As I got very close to my aquarium, I felt the glass warmer than usual, opened my eyelids and felt the water. Oh God! The water was super HOT! I checked the internal temp and it was 99.5! This heater set at 75 degrees cooked my fish alive! Not good! As you can see, I have posted temperature photos of my temperature being set to show that I am in no way imagining anything that could paint the manufacturer in a bad light. I was looking for a phone number to call. Help but nothing is given with the product, not online. Please, if you don't want FISH SOUP, it's better to spend $40 on a name brand heater than risk your pets to save a few bucks! Do not buy this heater. Believe me. This is not good!
