I bought a refurbished 3 piece Netgear Nighthawk mesh network. It was such a great price and a great return option so I took a chance. My experience: easy to download the app, easy to set up router and satellites, easy to connect devices. I have an intermediate knowledge of networking, certainly not an expert. I found it easy to follow the instructions. I connected the router to my FIOS box, which creates a second Wi-Fi network. I was able to auto-connect my old Dell laptop and Epson printer with the old 2.4 protocol and my Apple laptop with 5Ghz. Both iPhones will connect automatically. I checked the speed of my FIOS router and it was good, the huge speed loss was due to the WiFi FIOS. My speeds are now AWESOME! In fact, three times more than I received! Better improvement than I expected.
