A few years ago I got a similar gadget for slicing veggies and used it to make dinner (especially onions - I hated cutting hot tears when slicing them by hand - a few quick slices with a mandoline chopper and I had no more tears)!) . You literally save so much time (I'm a slow chopper). Decided to buy a new one as the old one was starting to dull. I chose this one and when I received it I was SO IMPRESSED. It's much stronger and bigger than my old one! And all attachments come with a handy little storage/carrying case - so handy! It was definitely an upgrade and works great! You really can't go wrong with this kitchen gadget. It actually locks the attachments in place! (My old one started popping out mid-sand because it just snapped into place) and the cleaning brushes are PERFECT! No more tiny pieces of chopped veggies hiding in cracks. I'm so glad I bought this.
