The m.2 card shows up as Intel 8260 on my display I am very familiar with both Windows and Linux. For the price, it's hard to beat. Cons: The antenna assembly is very light and feels very cheap. The cables to the antenna are too short. Even with this card in the top PCIe slot, the antenna barely reaches the top of the case and should sit on top of the vent. The included USB cable is also short and needs creative routing to get to my motherboard's USB 2.0 ports. Pros: Everything else about this product is amazing. The antenna cable connectors appear to be well constructed and standardized, so if you decide to replace them later that's easy. Conclusion: Outstanding value for money. An Intel 8260 card is worth something. The fact that it comes with an (albeit cheap) antenna and an adapter card is a bonus. Sure, there are pricier, fancier options out there, but for general desktop use this is hard to beat.
