Affordable, quality card

I tried several other Wi-Fi cards before buying this one. I figured I could save $10 and still get a good wi-fi card. Well, it turns out that the rest of the cards are worthless because they don't work properly. One, a February smart card, caused my computer to randomly reboot. The other, from Ubit, was just a crappy card that connected unreliably and although it claimed to support both 2.4 and 5GHz it never connected at 5. I have both the Netgear R8000P and the Mikrotik Tried HAP. -AC2 withโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Almost never

ASUS PCE-AC55BT runs on Windows 10

I had to move my desktop to a different room than my router. Installation was easy: plugged into an available PCI-E slot, booted up, selected my wireless network. I have Windows 10 Pro (1709 Fall Creators Update), no need to install ASUS drivers. However, I didn't install the USB cable (included) for Bluetooth support as my motherboard didn't have USB ports. I don't need bluetooth at the moment but if I connect it I'll update the rating. What I like best is that my desktop, unlike my laptopโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Almost everything available

I've noticed that this card (and many other wireless network cards) gets a lot of bad reviews on Revain. I also noticed that it usually happens because the component doesn't work due to human driver issues. It was very surprising that in the last few months so many people said this doesn't work on Windows 10. I just want to clarify something. It definitely WORKS on Windows 10. I'm using this card on a new PC build and it worked flawlessly right from the start by simply installing it into a PCIe

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Crumpled

Works very well with Linux.

The m.2 card shows up as Intel 8260 on my display I am very familiar with both Windows and Linux. For the price, it's hard to beat. Cons: The antenna assembly is very light and feels very cheap. The cables to the antenna are too short. Even with this card in the top PCIe slot, the antenna barely reaches the top of the case and should sit on top of the vent. The included USB cable is also short and needs creative routing to get to my motherboard's USB 2.0 ports. Pros: Everything else about thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • For old

This thing saved my marriage!

After I built my Ryzen Tower and placed it about 25 feet from my router, my previous ASUS USB WiFi dongle was not picking up any signals! It was very frustrating not having WiFi after installing a new operating system when it was impossible to update software or drivers! It made me an easily irritable person. My wife didn't like how I felt, how grumpy I was and how much anger I had in my heart! It negatively affected my marriage! But thanks to technology, I used my phone and ordered this WiFiโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good Stuff
Cons
  • No Form Required

Very fast, solid, high-quality goods.

Performance is fantastic. Full speed over the Comcast Internet. I pay for 150 Mbit/s. It's easy with this wireless adapter. and converting data from USB to Bluetooth transmitter will NOT fit a USB port on my new MSI Arctic Ryzen board. I saw that another customer ordered a second cable separately. WHY do we need to do this, why can't Asus include an alternative cable or 2? Needless to say, I can't use the Bluetooth function ๐Ÿ˜ญ But that's the main use as the wifi is excellent. And an interesting

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
