I immediately noticed an increase in performance and mileage from the new filter, even though the previous (different brand) had only driven 10,000 miles. I don't know if this is an issue with cheap brand quality but the Fram will be at least as good and it was a cost effective answer to the loss of power and gas mileage. From now on I'll stay with Fram. (Five stars - because I'm completely satisfied, not because this filter was anything special compared to others I've used.)
