I had to read many reviews on this radio before I decided to buy this one. Many others have fake reviews and I took a chance but got the real deal. I usually have poor reception in my house, but I still wanted a radio for my emergency kit. As soon as I put the batteries in, my favorite station came through very clear and loud, which is amazing in my home. Then I took out the batteries and put the radio outside for a couple of hours to check the charge on the solar panel. I wasn't expecting much because it was a cloudy day. But I was amazed once again to find that the radio had enough power to run on solar power too. I am confident of adding this radio to my emergency kit. Additionally, Kozo's customer service is excellent.
