It took me a minute to figure out where the on/off "button" was since that's where you just touch the mat, but everything was smooth from there. This is a great way for toddlers to learn the alphabet by touching a letter and listening to a voice say the letter and then the word associated with the picture. It also teaches the following numbers and has the ability to play quizzes and songs. It is clearly printed, the voice is clear and easy to hear, it is visually appealing, brightly colored with simple, cute images that will catch little ones' attention and help them learn the alphabet and number 123.
