So far I couldn't be happier with it. Bought for an upcoming trip to Switzerland. My new Sony a6000 is great but it comes with f3.5 lenses and I'm used to f1.7 from my previous camera (Panasonic LX100 which is also a great travel camera). I was a little nervous about the manual lens. However, as mentioned by others, I found this to be almost no problem. It's sharp from 3m to infinity and I set it to f8 and just left it alone for normal daytime use. So far I've liked it and I know it works well on wide angle shots in low light (e.g. night streets and in cathedrals etc where flash isn't allowed and is useful no matter the distance). Once I figure out how to use the in-camera magnifying glass tool, I can easily adjust the focus if needed. This might be my ONLY lens to use on my trip as the 24MP a6000 is the champ I have to crop the scene with. I looked at the full sized image with the 16th crop (quite fine) and while it has a bit of grain it was acceptable to me when I really needed it. .
