I was hesitant to purchase this product due to conflicting reviews. It was easy to set up and install. The instructions were precise and easy to follow. It took me a few minutes to easily connect it to my WiFi and my connected devices. I'm using this wifi extender for an external ring light camera that was getting a bad wifi signal. The hardest part of this process was pairing the camera with this device, but the issue was resolved after I removed the batteries to restart it. I believe every device you plug in requires a reboot. I plugged the extension cord into an unused outlet in my bedroom by the window. Now I have a great camera signal and better video quality. I am very happy! UPDATE: I was having issues with buffering and slowdown after trying this for a week. I am returning for a refund in favor of the mesh system. I'm not sure why this is suddenly happening, but I work from home and I can't afford to fall behind or get fired from work.
