The fan I have at work sits on a shelf in a hard-to-reach corner, so I wanted to replace it with a remote control. The price of this model was reasonable, so I took a chance. I love it so much I keep this one for home and order another for work. It's quiet, comfortable and cute. For those struggling with a removed battery (like I did at first) there is a small tab on the tray that acts as a 'latch'. Hold it down (towards the tray) while pulling out the tray.
