Very sturdy and well built

I bought this wall mount for the new 60" Pioneer PDP-6010FD plasma display and I highly recommend this mount. It is designed and manufactured with superior construction. Quality, easily holds my plasma TV which weighs approximately 150lb (rated at 250lb). Installing the universal bracket on the back of the plasma was very easy, using only four screws and washers (included) that snap into place and ensure an extremely stable attachment of the TV to the bracket. Since this mount fits TVs up to 71", it should work for most TVs as long as the maximum horizontal distance between the mounting holes is approximately 35" or less (check your product manual for the exact maximum distance). The bracket's width and load capacity requires that you mount it to 3 wall studs as it is approximately 40 inches wide. However, it will help you get the mount very level. Here is a brief description of how to mount your TV with this wall mount. First locate the center post to be used as the center mounting point and use one of the screws provided to attach the mount to the desired location on the wall using the top center hole of the wall mount. Now place a spirit level on top of the mount and, using the installed center screw as a pivot, rotate one side or the other of the mount until your level shows the mount is perfectly level. Now use a marker to mark two drilling points on the left and right outer bolt and align them exactly with the desired mounting holes. Drill the appropriate holes, then screw in the screws and lock the bracket in a perfectly level position. Now mark, drill and install the remaining 3 screws (six total, two at each end and two at the center mounting points). The final step is to mount and secure the TV to the wall mount. With the help of a friend, securely grasp the TV and "hook" it to the wall mount. From underneath, remove a standard or Phillips screwdriver from the back panel and attach the set screw to the bottom of each bracket hook. In this last step, the TV is attached to the wall bracket. Let me tell you, I live in a seismic area in Southern California and am confident that my home will be damaged long before this TV falls off the wall in a seismic event. .Overall, this wall mount is worth every penny. As always, Revain offers a great product at a good price.
