Let's assume you don't center either pin - you have two others to take up the sag and that's invaluable when hanging a 100lb 65in Panasonic plasma. I bought this mount to use with a Panasonic Viera TH-50PZ80U 50" 1080p HD Plasma TV. It was easy to wall mount and the length allowed me to attach it with 3 wall studs. I also used 2 lever screws on the top and bottom rails but I'm sure it would be fine without them. Holds the TV very well. I'm not worried about it coming off the wall. The ST670P I received was released in January 2010. I would like to thank everyone who has commented on this. You really helped me get this awesome wall mount! It has a ratchet adjustment knob so you can adjust it while it's leaning against the wall. I loosened mine as loosely as possible and then attached it to the wall. Customization was very easy.
