The fact that this mount has 3 knobs instead of 2 makes it a 4 star not a 3 star unit. Let's assume you don't center either pin - you have two others to take up the sag and that's invaluable when hanging a 100lb 65in Panasonic plasma. I loved this product but the reviews combined with the minimal documentation made for an out of the box DISPOSAL. SO THEY ARE NOT IN THE DOCUMENTATION I removed the caps based on reviews of course when I couldn't rotate the mounts even after loosening the lag screws. It turns out the hinge travel is very tight spots. I was able to put them back. Bottom line: don't loosen the lag bolts to the point of the gap. 3. Adjusting the screws after hanging the TV is just slave labor. There must be a better way.
