I bought this mount to use with a Panasonic Viera TH-50PZ80U 50" 1080p HD Plasma TV. It was easy to wall mount and the length allowed me to attach it with 3 wall studs. I also used 2 lever screws on the top and bottom rails but I'm sure it would be fine without them. Holds the TV very well. I'm not worried about it coming off the wall. The only thing stopping it from 5 stars in my opinion is that the instructions aren't entirely clear on how to adjust the angle. I did what they said but the mount still wouldn't tilt. I thought you need to loosen the two small socket head screws under the tensioner. Once I figured that out, it was easy to set up. Another issue is that the mounting screws in the TV brackets are very difficult to reach when the TV is wall mounted. It took my son and me both. He used an extension socket and a Phillips bit to tighten the screws and I had to put my hand between the TV and the wall to keep the bit in the head of the screw. Once I had to remove the TV and trying to remove those screws was TERRIBLE! After tightening the screws, the screw heads are not visible! My tip: replace the screws with at least twice as long. Those two things aside, I'm very happy with this mount. I'm sure it will keep the TV safe for as long as it needs to.
