I confess I haven't read the instructions or even checked the box to see if there are instructions. I plugged it in and hooked up a monitor and nothing happened. I couldn't understand. Then I unplugged it and plugged it back in. The computer recognized it as the D: drive and I was curious. I looked at the D: drive and found there were some drivers. I installed the drivers and everything worked. Total setup time could have been a few minutes if I had checked the instructions first (haven't checked yet).
