I used this little timer for car work. I needed a dry contact to open after the timer expired, so I wired the timer to a normally closed 12V DC automotive relay. It took some time to study the online manual, which I found more helpful than the online video, but time was well spent because the timer has so many features and was unfamiliar to me. After figuring out how to program it, I did a desktop setup and made sure it worked the way I wanted it to. I used the 10 timer feature which is an on and off delay. I then installed it in my car for my app and it works great! Some things to keep in mind: - STUDY the manual. The device is unique and unusual. Perform a desktop install. Much easier to learn and test on the bench than after you set the timer to its final position. - The included keyboard was very useful and made programming easy. The low cost of the buttons was well spent even though they were only used once.
