I can't say enough about this multimeter. I make my living from my tools, so I appreciate the good ones! I bought this to replace a similar Matco gauge that had failed. There are many DVOMs out there that are under $100 now, really too much. I wasn't sure if I could get the best value for money until I found this. The name of the power probe told me it was a good choice. What I like: - Compact size but no function - Comes with very useful alligator clips for your probes - Backlit screen is great! (sometimes hard to see at extreme angles) - Magnetic tape lets you hang it anywhere and it works! - Leashes are good, long and of good quality. What I don't like: - The autorange function is a bit slow. Not too slow, but worth mentioning. - The battery compartment is hidden and held in place by a screw. Just a minor inconvenience compared to the screwdriverless door on my previous counter. Edit 12/13/15: A few weeks ago I used the ammeter function (10A fuse) and when the fuse blew there was no circuit. I disassembled it, which by the way is much easier than some trematodes! I found the 10A fuse just bounced around inside instead of being placed in the bracket. I got it and it's been working great ever since. I don't know how it passed quality control so I'm deducting 1 star.
