Review on Pacon Sulphite Drawing Paper White by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Printer paper would be just as good

I like Pacon's Manilla drawing paper, which weighs 56 pounds and is lighter than most drawing paper. I mistakenly assumed that this "lightweight drawing paper" would be the same but in white. I was so wrong! It's almost as thin and "toothless" (smooth) as regular carbon paper) and costs half the price of Manilla. Better use cheap printer paper, Pacona Manilla, or, although I haven't tried it, Sax Sulfite Drawing Paper, 70 lbs ($13.40 for 500 sheets).

Pros
  • Recyclable, heavyweight paper with excellent teeth and hold
Cons
  • unreliable
