Last week I took my 12 year old son to practice at the local high school. I realized that my transmissions weren't perfect. Some were balls, some were too low, and one or two almost hit him. With this feeder, the same feed is thrown every time. Speed, height or field type can be adjusted. You can use it not only for training, but also for catching flying balls, ground balls and also for ball and ball games with your dog. Loading the ball into the machine is extremely easy, launching the ball is very easy. I am 100% satisfied with that. Assembly was very easy and the assembly instructions were very clear and well written. If you know someone who enjoys playing baseball or catching a ball, you should have this. I was thinking of buying an automatic jug that runs on batteries or I could plug it in if I could find an outlet in the field or use a small generator. But those issues would be something else to worry about. With the Louisville Slugger, you'll need some balls, a racquet, or whatever you want to practice with the item. I recommend this over all other pitching machines.
