The charge is held for quite a long time (I can't say for sure, but when used three times a month, they keep charged for the full month), and the sound quality is acceptable for the type of headphones that are being used. Yet, the usage of it is extremely inconvenient. I am aware that there is a clip for them that can be fastened to the rear of the collar, but it has an odd appearance, and in all honesty, the answer is something that was developed in the 19th century. If you don't have clips, things will fall with a vengeance, and even if you are sitting at your computer at home, you will need to make adjustments every five minutes since the control panel will pull everything down with it. In general, I do not suggest. Especially considering the introduction of products like AirPods on the market. In the event that cost is a concern, I would suggest that you go with overhead headphones (those that are worn on the head). I'm not terribly enthusiastic about headphones like JBL's, but at least these won't come off.
