Review on 🔌 Baofeng UV-82/UV-82HP/UV-82L USB Cable Battery Charger - Portable Two-Way Radio Charger with Indicator Light by Ryan Saxton

This is classic Chinese quality control LOL! The standard Baofeng UV-5R does not fit in this "loading" base. However, I'm keeping this as the USB cable outputs 9 volts and has a 5.45mm plug that fits perfectly into the standard Baofeng charging station and works (9 volts is close enough to 10 volts I think, to make it work). I ordered this for two reasons: 1# Mirkit and Abbere's BL-5L 3800mAh Straight Battery Charging Cable with 2.5mm plug is wonky at best. They don't fit well in the battery connector, you have to hold them properly to keep them charged. So you need to plug the extended battery radio into the Baofeng charging station to charge it anyway. Reason No. 2: Smaller Baofeng batteries do not have a connector for direct connection via USB charging cable. The bottom line is, if you want to charge your baofeng via USB, throw that charging station in the trash and use this USB cable that plugs directly into the standard Baofeng charging station, both large and small 3800mAh -Battery. What a way to run a train lol!
