This is classic Chinese quality control LOL! The standard Baofeng UV-5R does not fit in this "loading" base. However, I'm keeping this as the USB cable outputs 9 volts and has a 5.45mm plug that fits perfectly into the standard Baofeng charging station and works (9 volts is close enough to 10 volts I think, to make it work). The cable is well made and has a green power light when plugged in, red when charging and green when the battery is fully charged.
