Although I knew the size of this thread before ordering it was a shock to get my hands on it. This canvas is huge and will be beautiful when finished. The thread quality is higher than any major brand of cross stitch I have used. Very silky, burr and lint free, glides easily across the canvas, colors are rich and vibrant. There are 52 colors in this set, so you can imagine they had to get creative with the colors and symbols used on the pre-printed canvas, which sometimes makes it difficult to see subtleties, but you can always have all the doubts that you have, match. with a "count" sheet. There's a lot of color variation in a small area, which, as a relative cross-stitch novice, has me some worries about the best approach; Should I bind or cap spaces? But I'm looking forward to improving my skills. I will heed the advice of others and make copies of the evaluation sheets before I work on them too much. I would be interested to know how many hours others have spent on this. As I said the quality is great and the only reason I can't give 5 stars is that the stamping can be a bit difficult to understand at times and I think for the scale of the project they could have added a few more needles. . There were two in the kit and one broke within 15 hours. Also if you are looking for a big piece with lots of color gamut and mix and a little challenge then this is a great product! I'm not sure if there are enough threads.
