I don't really like cars but thanks to Youtube I've worked on crumbs myself when the projects look easy enough. I've had the check engine light come on intermittently and then go off so thought I'd try this to see if I can both diagnose the problem and help clear the code. As I mentioned, I'm not much of a mechanic so initially my knowledge was pretty limited and it took me a bit of navigation to figure out what was what (even with a manual). It took me a long time to realize that I kept pressing a different button in the middle instead of the "OK" button on the right. Once I figured that out, things got a little easier. I was able to track down the problem, clean up the code, assess the urgency and do some research without making an appointment. The tool has a very nice display and is very easy to use. All in all, I'm glad it exists.
