Honestly I didn't think these scissors would be of any use. The first reason is the price. A good pair of scissors costs a lot more. The second reason is that the two blades didn't seem to be touching. Well I was wrong. Very wrong. They work great. I have been a family hairdresser for many years and my job would be a lot easier if I used these scissors all the time. The ergonomics are perfect for my medium sized hand. Much less discomfort and I don't skin my knuckles. My children's thick hair cuts like butter. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended
