It's a good unit, but don't rely on it to wet a large area. However, it's better than many small travel humidifiers I've bought. It still works, even now, 5 years after my original purchase, when other smaller, cheaper humidifiers "died" long before that. It's easy to clean with dish soap and warm or hot water, and the included brush cleans the inside "nooks and crannies" of the humidifier. The device is also perfect. I used it to humidify a small room and it worked well for that purpose. The mist that comes out is cool to the touch and smells nice when using pure filtered or distilled water. .Do not use regular tap water as the minerals it contains may "block" the mist or even damage the ultrasonic mist element. If you're using colloidal silver liquid, you can even add some (about 1 ounce) to the distilled water used for this and the mist will smell even better. did and it really makes a big difference. It also prevents bacteria from rising during humidification and building up on the ultrasonic element and throughout the interior of the device. The only downside to this device is that you have to buy your own water tank (plastic) to hold the water fed to the humidifier. It doesn't come with me. I was able to use one even larger than the recommended one to hold more water. To keep it from tipping over when full, I propped the bottom of the bottle (which is now up - upside down -) against the edge of the wall or one side of the closet it was standing in with a crumpled paper towel between both to stabilize it from wobbling. It was ONLY because I completely fill this big bottle. .) As long as you don't "push" it, it's fine. In all the years of use it has never leaked or tipped over. :) Maybe I've just been lucky so far, but it works, so I'm happy. There is also a small stabilizing "LEG" on one side that stretches to keep it in a stable position. Use it, it's important. It's a little tight (at first) to get the unit's water valve into the bottle, but once it's in it doesn't self-loosen or leak, and once it's "adjusted" to the plastic neck, it's easy to shut remove and replace. There is another "fault" in this water valve. The company doesn't sell it separately, so be careful with that. .Maybe at that time they can sell them separately. You can contact them to take a look. But mine has never broken. Be careful with it and of course don't drop it. :) When you take it out of the bottle, it comes out quite easily, with little effort, and goes back in with the same normal effort. There is no need to force him. Just make sure you let it ENTIRELY penetrate the threaded neck of the plastic bottle. It is not designed to be fitted onto external threads, so the only thing holding it together is the force with which it is pressed against the internal plastic. The humidifier holds a large amount of water even after the bottle is emptied, so it will continue to fog up for a while and turn itself off when there is no more water. On my device, the indicator is BLUE when it's working and turns RED when it's empty. Maybe even now they're the same, I don't know exactly. Mine still works, so I haven't had to buy another one lately. :) There must be enough water to fill the inside, otherwise the light will stay RED and the mist won't come out. Depending on your use, it should serve you well as long as you keep it dry after use. (Remove unused water from inside) When not in use, do not leave water in it for a long time, otherwise a brownish film will form on the entire inner surface. It can be cleaned, but it's just extra work. remove all. I took some photos of his work, I hope this helps you decide if you want to buy this device.
