Received broken and my parrot just turned the bowl over and scattered

So I bought this for my very soft Congo Gray Parrot - when I opened the box there were two pieces of wood that normally attach to it holding it They bowl, were broken, a piece of ince or so on each support arm. I chose this bowl anyway as it didn't seem to affect usage. Well I was wrong, my CAG thinks it's best to throw it out because it's so easy to pull out. Well, I have a functional bowl, but it's a great toy.
