I wanted to give this to my son so I got it for his birthday and he loves it! He's the kind of kid who loves building things and making things out of wood, and he also loves to draw and sketch, so I figured it would be right up his alley. He's twelve now, so he can use it without much supervision, but we should at least be home or nearby. This year he really wants to make Christmas decorations out of it and has already won a prize at our fair for the welcome sign he made. The only downside I see so far is that you have to wait for it to cool down to change nozzles. Well, he's too impatient, so he uses the same advice for everything. I think we might need to buy another one to make it easier for him to move.
